Thank you so much for taking the time to consider donating to Mountain Vista’s Theatre and/or Film programs. We serve over two hundred students as they explore filmmaking, broadcast live sporting events, create content for the school websites, produce multiple theatre productions each year, and cultivate their artistic talents. These programs receive minimal yearly funding from the school district and are essentially self-funded, so we need your support to sustain our students' exceptional work. Each year our technical needs, in both theatre and film, are substantial. We always need lumber, paint, sound supplies, costumes, and lighting equipment in theatre and equipment repair costs, consumables (batteries, makeup, camera storage), and keeping up with industry-standard filmmaking equipment is costly. We are also preparing for significant renovations to the theatre lighting system and film studio.
